Therefore, Cabinets.com works with Arbor Day Foundation to plant 15,000 trees each year in our nation's forests.

Arbor Day Foundation is a million-member nonprofit conservation and education organization with the mission to inspire people to plant, nurture, and celebrate trees. One of the main initiatives of this foundation is reforestation. There are several ways forests can be devastated including fires, insect infestations, disease, and weather. Forest restoration rebuilds and protects critical watersheds, habitats for wildlife, and even venues for recreation.

This year, Cabinets.com partners with Arbor Day Foundation to replant the 15,000 trees specifically in Goethe State Forest, located in Levy county, Dunnellon, Florida. Goethe, a 53,587-acre state forest is home to the endangered red-cockaded woodpecker and many other rare animal species. This state forest is managed by Florida Forest Service for timber production, wildlife habitat, and outdoor recreation. Reforestation in this area will help habitat restoration for the wildlife. Cabinets.com feels proud to be able to help in preserving public land and habitat for the wildlife.
